The Democrats Obamacare Problem

It's all over the news.  Exchanges are closing, the model doesn't work, the millennials aren't signing up, coverage rates are through the roof, and Omigod, the sky is falling.

As we work through this national tragedy, we're struck by the idea that the system should be fixed.  And, I'm reminded that in the first years of the program, we all talked about how it should be fixed, but the Democrats didn't want to fix it.  Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi would hear none of it.

Obamacare was passed strictly by  Democrats to ensure that President Obama had a signature program that would fundamentally change the United States.  Oh, how soon we forget.  Obamacare is purely a Democrat problem, and I can come up with a few ways that they can mitigate the program.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are still in power.  They can both apologize to the American People for wrecking the health care system.  They can remind the American people that they used every legislative trick in the book to get it passed, over strenuous Republican opposition.  Then, they could put togethether legislation to simply repeal it in its entirety.  Simply set the clock back to 2008.  I'm sure that they could find a couple of Republicans who would help them do that in a bipartisan manner.

Obamacare is a Democratic problem, and it's in their power to fix it if they want to.  It doesn't look to me like they want to fix it.  They want to make it our problem, but Republicans everwhere should not let that happen.  They made this mess, let them clean it up.

I agree with you ; let them clean up their mess.....oh wait, then they would have to admit that they were wrong. 'Taint gonna happen. And actually, if we let the demoncrats clean up the mess; then they get the credit. And they will lord that over the repubs till the cows come home.
So I propose that the repubs grow a couple and hammer out a fix for the problem. Or just scrap the whole crappy thing and let the market forces work their magic.
